The Layered Knowledge Object Model: Restoring Signal in Collaborative Discourse
Traditional discussion systems systematically bury high-value signal within an overwhelming stream of chronological noise, fracturing complex debates into unreadable, disorganized fragments. To rectify this systemic failure in digital collaboration, this paper proposes a layered knowledge-object model designed to restore analytical clarity by separating knowledge areas, core ideas, meaning-level alternatives, textual polish, supporting discussion, and promoted reply units into distinct architectural layers.
